Your Wedding Day is one of the most special and memorable days of your life. The music and entertainment provider you select for your wedding reception plays an integral part in determining just how wonderful the lasting memories will be for you and your guests.

D & T Music Productions attributes their success in creating wonderful lasting wedding reception memories for their clients to three factors:

1.) Preparation 2.) Professionalism and 3.) Performance.

Preparation: Long before the first song is played, countless hours are spent preparing to ensure everything proceeds just as you envisioned. We typically recommend at least one, and preferably two, in-person consultations with the wedding couple in advance of your Wedding Day. This helps to ensure all the details go exactly as planned - from the order of event proceedings and song selection down to properly pronouncing the bridal party’s names. In addition, we have back-up equipment on site if the unforeseen should occur and an electronic component of our sound system fail.

Professionalism: We arrive at your event allowing plenty of time to set up our sound and lighting systems - typically two hours before music is scheduled to begin. Your DJ will be dressed appropriately in either a tuxedo or a dark-colored suit and tie – you may request either. We play song selections appropriate for your audience and play only “clean” radio-edited versions of all songs.

Performance: As the emcee of your reception, we coordinate the timing of events with others (caterer, photographer, etc.) to keep the evening flowing smoothly at a steady pace but without rushing. Once the dancing begins, we pride ourselves in being able to read an audience in order to make the proper song selections that will keep the dance floor packed all night. The quality of our sound system allows us to deliver clean sound to all areas of your venue without needing to overpower the entire audience by simply turning up the volume and distorting the sound.

Our Standard Wedding Package:

  • Two personal consultations with the bride & groom in advance of your wedding 
  • A personal profile to help guide the decision making process regarding timing of events, special ceremonies, song choices, etc.
  • A listing of song suggestions for events during the reception (e.g. bride-father and groom-mother dances, bouquet throw and garter toss, etc.)
  • Six hours of music coverage (includes cocktail, dinner and dance music)
  • Emcee services and coordination of events throughout the entire reception
  • All songs that you request to be played in advance of the event will be on hand at the reception (no extra charge if the song is not currently in my music collection)
  • Wireless microphone will be provided for toasts and floor coverage
  • Over 22,000 songs brought to the event - coverage of 1940s' to current to current radio releases
  • Four speaker set up (15" mains and 18" subwoofers)
  • Lighting that includes color washing and sound-activated effect lighting
